Quick answer: In Nomni Procure, click Items > Add, then choose Add from invoice to upload up to 5 supplier invoices, or Create new to add one item (Bulk create adds many with Excel). Changes show in your market list straight away.
Applies to: Nomni Procure (web, for restaurants) and Nomni Supply (web, for suppliers).
You can add, change and remove the items in your market list yourself, with no need to wait for Support. Changes show straight away and are usually done in a couple of minutes.
Before you start
Have the item name, unit (UOM, for example CTN, PKT, KG), price before tax and minimum order quantity ready. A recent invoice from the supplier has all of these.
If you manage several outlets, check that the correct outlet is selected at the top right of the page.
Search your market list first. The item may already be there.
Option A: Add items from a supplier invoice (fastest for several items)
Click Items on the left menu.
Click Add, then choose Add from invoice.
Drag in up to 5 invoices (PDF, JPEG or PNG), or click the grey area to browse, then click Upload.
Check the items read from the invoice. Edit or delete any line, and click Add item to add a missing one. Items already in your market list show their current price in the Old price/remarks column.
Click Save.
What you should see: the new items and prices appear in your market list straight away, ready to order.
Option B: Create one item at a time
Click Items, then Add, then Create new.
Select the supplier.
Fill in SKU name, the unit, Price before tax and Min. order qty. Supplier product code and My product code are optional.
Under Tax/GST/VAT %, keep Use default rate or choose Enter a different rate (%).
Optional: tick Add to Inventory to track stock for this item.
Click Save, or Save & add another to keep going.
Option C: Add or update many items with Excel
Click Items, then Add, then Create new, select the supplier and click Bulk create new. To change prices or custom names of existing items, use Bulk update instead.
UOM (unit size) sheet
Upload the file in 2. Upload the file.
Change an item's price, unit or name
Go to Outlets, then View suppliers, then View market list for the supplier.
Click the item, update the price, order unit or Buyer custom name, then click Save changes.
To add an item the supplier already sells, click Add/create SKU, then Add from supplier catalogue, and use Add to market list (or Add to market list & inventory if you also track stock).
Remove or hide an item
On Items, tick the item(s).
Click Delete to remove them from the market list, or Hide while ordering to keep them but hide them from staff. If the items are also in other outlets, you'll be asked Also delete in other outlets?
For suppliers: add items to your catalogue in Nomni Supply
Go to Catalogue and click Add new SKU. Fill in the SKU name, category, tax rate and base unit, then click Done & list in catalogue. For many items, use Options, then Upload catalogue.
Go to Customers, open the customer and the Market list tab, and add the item with its price and MOQ.
Troubleshooting
The supplier isn't in my list. Add the supplier first; see Adding suppliers.
I can't edit the price or MOQ. The supplier is an Active supplier who manages their own prices in Nomni Supply. Ask the supplier to update it.
I don't see the Add or Create new button. Your user type may not allow editing items. Ask your account Owner or Admin.
Staff can't see the new item when ordering. Refresh the app, check the right outlet and supplier, and make sure the item isn't set to Hide while ordering.
I need sizes of one product. Create one item per size.
Add a supplier
Follow these steps:
Click Outlets on the sidenav, then select the Suppliers tab, or if your account is linked to multiple outlets, click Actions > View suppliers next to a location (outlet).
You're now seeing the Suppliers tab. Click Add new.
On the Add supplier page, type the supplier company name or the Company Registration Number (UEN) and click Search.
The results will be displayed and there may be more than 1 matching result. Check the details of the company before selecting Add to My Supplier.
Note: If the supplier is not a "passive" supplier, you will be asked to contact the Procure team to add this supplier.
If you cannot find the supplier here, try using the expanded search option (searching from publicly available business info) or creating the supplier manually. When using either of these options, you may need to enter the details of the supplier, such as the address and its registration number.
You'll be asked to confirm the details of the supplier you're about to add once again. If correct, click Continue to supplier settings.
In the next step, you'll need to enter the following:
The email addresses that will receive your orders.
Supplier's minimum order value (MOV) and delivery fee, if any.
Days of the week when the supplier makes deliveries and order cut-off times for each of them.

When to contact Support
Chat with Liv or the team if a bulk upload keeps failing, you need the same change across many outlets or suppliers at once, two suppliers need merging, or a renamed item is shared by other outlets. Send the outlet, supplier and a screenshot or the invoice so we can help quickly.
