Change an item's price or custom name in your market list

Edit prices, custom names and buyer codes yourself in Nomni Procure

You can change an item's price, custom name, buyer product code and tags in your market list yourself.

Before you start

  • Who: a user whose role can manage market lists.

  • Device: Nomni Procure on a computer (desktop).

  • Who sets the price: for suppliers not on Nomni Supply, you do. Suppliers on Nomni Supply manage their own prices; you'll see "Unit price of this product is managed by the supplier".

Change the price

  1. Log in to Nomni Procure on a computer.

  2. Check the right outlet is selected at the top right.

  3. Go to your suppliers list, click the supplier's ⋯ menu and choose View market list.

  4. Click the item to open it.

  5. In the unit size table, enter the new Price for each order unit size you buy in. You can also change the MOQ.

  6. Click Save.

What you should see: the new price in the market list. New orders use it straight away.

Change the custom name or buyer code

  1. Open the item as above.

  2. Enter the Custom name, for example add "pack 1kg per bag". The supplier's product name stays as it appears on their invoice.

  3. Enter your Buyer product code or Tags if you use them.

  4. Click Save.

What you should see: your custom name on the market list and on new orders.

Stop an item showing when ordering

Tick the item and click Hide while ordering. Use Show while ordering to bring it back.

If something goes wrong

  • The price box is greyed out: the supplier manages the price, or the unit size isn't included in your market list. Turn on Include in marketlist for that size.

  • A price changed by itself: prices update when invoices are processed. Check the item's Price history tab.

  • You need to change the supplier's product name: it has to match their invoice, so use Custom name instead.
