Supplier didn't receive your order email

Check the order, the supplier's order email and spam filters when a supplier says they never got your order

Applies to: Nomni Procure (Buyer Hub and app), for suppliers that receive orders by email.

Use this guide when a supplier tells you an order (PO) never arrived.

Step 1: Check the order was placed

  1. In Nomni Procure, open Orders.

  2. Search for the PO number.

  3. Check the status. It should say Placed (not Draft or Pending approval).

What you should see: the order shows as Placed. If it is still waiting for approval, an approver must approve it before the supplier gets it.

Step 2: Check the supplier's order email

  1. Go to Outlets > Actions > View suppliers.

  2. Find the supplier and click Actions > View supplier settings.

  3. Check the email addresses under order notifications. Fix any typo, or add another address, separated by a comma.

  4. Click Save.

What you should see: the correct email addresses saved for that outlet. Each outlet has its own supplier settings, so repeat this for every outlet that orders from this supplier.

Step 3: Ask the supplier to check spam and filters

  1. Ask the supplier to search their inbox, spam and junk folders for the PO number.

  2. Ask them to add our sending domain to their safe senders list (also called a whitelist or allow list). Their IT team or email provider can help.

  3. If their email domain has stopped working or rejects mail, update the supplier settings with a working address (Step 2).

Step 4: Ask us to resend

Send us the PO numbers in chat. We can check the order activity to see if the email was delivered, and resend the order to the supplier.

If something goes wrong

Only some outlets' orders are missing: compare the supplier settings for the outlets that work and the ones that don't. The email addresses are usually different.

The supplier gets the same PO more than once: this can happen after a system delay. Tell the supplier to fulfil it once, and send us the PO number so we can check.
