Payments to supplier on Nomni Procure

Can I pay my supplier through the app?

Quick answer: Go to Invoices and click Pay online. You'll see your unpaid e-invoices from suppliers who accept online payment, grouped by supplier. Click Pay next to a supplier, check the total and card, then click Submit. In the mobile app you can also open an invoice and tap Pay.

This article is for buyers (venue owners, managers and purchasing staff) using Nomni Procure. It covers Nomni Procure on a computer and the Nomni Procure app on iPhone and Android.

You can still pay suppliers outside Nomni Procure, for example by bank transfer, if they don't accept online payments.

Before you start

  • Add a card: go to Settings > Linked companies > your company > Payments. Under Payment method, click Add new card. You can set a Default card. You need permission to manage payments to see the Payments tab.

  • Online payment works for e-invoices your supplier sends through Nomni Procure. It doesn't work for invoices you uploaded yourself.

  • Your supplier must have online payments turned on for your account. If their invoices don't show in Pay online, ask your supplier.

Pay invoices on a computer

  1. Go to Invoices and click Pay online.

  2. In Pay invoices online, choose the outlet and set the Due date range (it starts at 30 days before to 30 days after today), then click Search.

  3. Invoices are grouped by supplier, and all are selected. Untick any you don't want to pay.

  4. Click Pay next to one supplier. You pay one supplier at a time.

  5. In Your payment, check the invoices, the Payment processing fee (it may show as Waived) and the Total. If you have credits from that supplier, you'll see how many credits are available: click Use credit to take them off the total.

  6. Your default card is selected. Click it to choose another card, or add a card if you have none.

  7. Click Submit.

The screen says that by making the payment you agree to the "Zeemart Payment Terms & Conditions" (these are the Nomni Procure payment terms). There's nothing to tick.

What you should see: "Your payment is successful" with a Transaction ID. The invoices show as Paid.

Pay one invoice in the app (iPhone and Android)

  1. Go to Invoices and open the invoice.

  2. Tap Pay.

  3. Check the amount and card, then tap Pay [amount] (or Submit if your credit covers the whole amount).

You can also pay several invoices in the app from Pay invoices. On a computer, to pay just one invoice, use Invoices > Pay online and select only that invoice.

What you should see: "Your payment is successful" with a Transaction ID. The invoice shows as Paid.

Payment plans

A Payment plan pays selected suppliers automatically on a schedule, charged to your company card. You can see your plans under Settings > Linked companies > your company > Payments > Payment plan. If it says No payment plans available, none are set up. Ask your supplier or contact us to set one up.

Payment notifications

Under Settings > Linked companies > your company > Payments > Payment notifications, add the emails that should get payment receipts, reminders for upcoming payments and failed payment alerts.

If something goes wrong

  • You see "Payment failed. Your payment could not be processed. Please try again." Check the card details and limit, then click Try again, or add another card.

  • If you were charged but the invoice still shows unpaid, don't pay again. Contact us with the Transaction ID.
